This is like the buy two get one free of blogging posts, you only have to click once to get three outfit ideas. Go you! Today I’m sharing my ideas on how to take patterned shorts from day to-night. Assuming your day is filled with casual activities that progressively call for more elegant wear, this should be beneficial for you. Also assuming that the proverb about assuming does not apply here (I am not an ass, nor are you). These are just basic ideas really, beginning with a colored tee, next we have the favorite collard white shirt, and finally a girlie girl’s favorite: the sparkly tee. It just so happens that my colors today also correspond with good, old US of A and since the Olympics are in full effect and my bff requested I do an Olympics inspired post (this one is for you Lollie), consider this my team spirit! GO USA!
TIP: Shorts can be an evening look when paired with the right accessories and top! Sparkles always help, also adjusting makeup is another enhancement.

Hey Ina! The white shirt is the boy’s secret wash in white poplin. It is from crew cuts and I went with the size 14. I determined that by looking at their size chart and going off what my measurements are compared to theirs. The size 14 is chest 32 and waist 27. I’m a 32 chest and a 25 waist. The shirt is a touch roomy for me, but I don’t like my shirts really fitted. You may be able to go down a size. Hope this helps! I also added the link to the actual shirt:) BTW, I like buying crew-cuts to save some money, if I can squeeze into the sizes:) xo

Thank you! I ordered size 14 in that shirt. I usually order the largest size in boy’s tops. I order anything and everything from JC and usually take a xs or 0-2 in tops and a 2 in bottoms there. Hope that answered your questions, let me know if you need anything else:) xoxo
