Look! I do have a real, live friend! It’s been a while since I’ve done a fashion friend post, I know. I had to solicit on the street for friends to take pictures for my style blog. Not really, I just get lazy sometimes and my camera skills are far inferior to my husband’s. Laziness and photography skills aside, I was able to have a mini photo shoot with my friend Ali. This girl has a wardrobe to die for and an awesome fashion sense! Girlfriend knows how to mix some prints too; she leaves J.Crew sales associates in a tizzy over her adorable looks when she goes in the store, they just swoon over her! Thanks for letting me take these pictures of you, gorgeous friend:) I will now be accepting applications for more friends….
TIP: The key to mixing prints is having a common color (here black re-occurs). Also, notice the pattern of the shirt is smaller and scarce compared to the bold, thick pattern of the skirt; This also helps when mixing prints. A pop of color, like Ali’s red shoe, is a great addition if your prints are neutral!
Very cute! I need to start mixing prints more. Love the unique quality it brings to an outfit.
Isn’t her style great? It definitely does bring a unique quality to an outfit:) You will be seeing this style maven again in the future! Have a great day Britt, xoxo

I guess stylish women travel together 🙂 She is absolutely adorable, especially in the last pic! In love with her dot clutch.
She is adorable and nice too! Always a winning combination for a friend:) I love that clutch and so glad she lives close so I can borrow it, lol!
Anytime girl! We need to get our clutch library up and running. Maybe find one of those old book indexes and make it a clutch index, organization is key 🙂
Yeah we do:) That is a great idea and I’m all about organization!
