Happy Campers

Genius hand-washing station set up by Hannah, camper extraordinaire!

In lieu of a fashion forward post, I thought you might like to see a good ‘ole jeans and tee post!  You may not get any style inspiration from me today, but you can walk away with a great idea for a handmade, out-door hand-washing station (say that three times fast).  You might also be inspired to take a day or two off work to enjoy sleeping on the ground and waking up with a rash.  Ahhh, the adventures of camping! I didn’t really wake up with a rash, just a nasty stomach bug that cut our trip a day short.  This past weekend we took a trip up to Helen, Georgia with some friends for a camping trip in the Chattahoochee National Forest.  It was the perfect time of year to see the leaves changing color for fall and for everyone to enjoy the quirky, little town of Helen, while yours truly enjoyed the scenic view of the tent and the on-site bathrooms.  Aside from that, it was a blast and a great place to camp or visit if you are ever in Georgia.

P.S. Hope you all had a happy & HEALTHY weekend:)

  1. You are a brave girl! I’m not sure I could live for five minutes without electricity! So pathetic. Hope you guys had a blast and congratulations on your anniversary!

    • Ha! It’s kind of nice to unplug every once in a while:) You’d be surprised how well you do without everything and how much you appreciate it all when you come back to life’s little luxuries. Thanks for the love Sarah! xoxo

      • LOL! I’ve been thinking about writing a blog about this amazing 1950’s formal vintage dress I bought two years ago for a wedding I never attended. I haven’t worn it, and it is sooooooooo gorgeous! I want to wear it so badly but never have the right occasion.

      • That sound amazing Britt! You should just do it!!! I would love to see it:) I love vintage. There is never a better time than the present. That’s why we call it a present:) who is super cheesy right now??? Me!!!!
