Every once in awhile, a “magical” article of clothing will appear before my eyes and make me want to spend full price just to have it in my possession asap. Congratulations Ann Taylor, you and your perfectly patterned paisley skirt did it. I am officially obsessed with this print and cannot wait to style this all sorts of ways. Luckily, you sent me a coupon baiting me to spend more than I wanted to in order to receive a dollar amount off my total. Funny how marketing works, isn’t it? I did find a gorgeous pair of tan leather boots there on mega sale. I think this was a personal best in sale shopping; originally $328, but scored them for just $20 dollars. Thank you, thank you! I feel the congratulatory pats:) I guess my little shopping excursion was worth it. Like my friend Al says “I wasn’t bad, but I wasn’t good!”

I hope everyone had a great Valentine’s day or what I fondly referred to as “singles awareness” day before getting hitched to my first husband. That’s right, I said my first husband. I lovingly dubbed him that on a card a while ago and now that’s how we address each-other. Sweet, right? So is this ensemble I’m sporting today. It’s casual, comfy and cute. And it stinks because I have worn it non-stop. Don’t Judge. Just be glad technology has not advanced to computers with sight, sound and smell!
P.S. Have a great weekend! Thanks so much for stoping by!!! xoxo
I’ve found Carmen Sandiego! She’s in Smyrna, Georgia! No, not really, but I do bear a striking resemblance to the mysterious TV show character in this new winter hat of mine. This Brixton hat is actually an early Christmas present from my mum (thank you mum!). Any time we go to St. Augustine, Florida, we always make a stop at the Panama Hat store on St. George Street. They have the best selection of hats and I usually buy all my hats from them, especially since they will size them for me! My head is the size of a small eraser and that’s usually what I use it for, erasing things from my memory. But I do remember how much I love a great hat, they add so much fun and interest to any look, not to mention they help with bad hair days (or weeks/months). Thanks to this cutie’s post over at Librarian for Life Style, I was reminded to whip my hat out. Do you have a favorite accessory for the cooler months ahead?
P.S. Thank you so much for stopping by! All of your comments and any support are greatly appreciated! XOXO
P.P.S. Thanks to the Madewell flyer I received in the mail that was the inspiration for today’s look also!
