Laid Back Leather

Jacket: Gap (similar here and here)  /  Top: Gap (similar here and here)  /  Pants: Lauren Conrad for Kohl’s  /  Shoes: Fergalicious via Macy’s (similar here)  /  Bag: Perlina (old, similar here)  /  Jewelry:  Stella and Dot midnight necklace, Stella and Dot on the mark necklace, Stella and Dot pendant necklace, Nixon watch, Banana Republic bangles (similar here)

They’re back!!!  Be prepared to see these awesome faux-leather pants (remember them from this post) regularly on the blog.  I would sleep in these babies if I could, but something tells me that seeping in leather is better left for people such as Dita Von Teese or Elvira.  And since I’m not rolling around in a giant martini glass for my day job or hosting Halloween shows, wearing them during the day will suffice.  I’m excited to style these into the fall with some chunky knits.  Maybe I will roll around in a giant beer mug or coffee cup while wearing them to channel Ms. Von Teese.  No, not the same effect?  Alright, I will keep my day job…

P.S. Hope you have a super Thursday!  Thanks for reading:)

  1. Great combo! I like that you had your leopard purse to mix it up, too! I expect to see a lot of leather looks this season. I’m in search of a leather peplum. I think I found one that I like so hopefully I can pull it off. Looking forward to seeing these pants more in coming posts! xoxo

  2. love the pants!! As I was looking at the first few photos I kept wondering how you stay cool in them. I totally know what you mean about leather (even/especially pleather?) feeling like you’re wearing a sauna unless it’s super cold out. But these look great and if you say they’re not hot, I’m definitely going to check them out this weekend.

    • Thanks Erika! Yes, definitely check them out. I have worn them out at night in Atlanta, where it is a muggy 70 degrees at night, and I didn’t get any leg sweat! That’s a test right there. Hope you like them:) xoxo
